About Us
In 1987 The Lycans family purchased a small
cable system in Glen
Hayes, WV. This was the
beginning of Lycom
Communications They moved the
company to Louisa, Kentucky in
1992. Although not called Lycom
at the time, Greentree of
Kentucky acquired the older
pre-existing cable system that
was already in Louisa. The
family rebuilt the cable system
in Louisa to handle more
channels.
